Their experience in claims has given MSM an insight into Business Continuity Planning and Pre-Loss Requirements. 

MSM are now engaged by a number of organisations to be part of the disaster response team to assist in the management of the incident and the disaster recovery response.  Our involvement in the Business Continuity process is as both facilitators and team members and can be summarised as follows:-

• Project Management

• Business Impact Analysis for one or more scenarios or for one or more critical functions

• Costing of the Business Continuity Strategy for the selected scenario(s) and critical function(s)

• Development of action plans including plans for the Project Management of the Claim Process incorporating the capture of the data necessary for the preparation of an insurance claim in the context of the ISR Insurance Policy and the maintenance of progress payments from underwriters in accordance with the terms and conditions of the insurance program

• Facilitating an estimate of the increased and additional Increased Costs of Working as a consequence of a scenario arising

• Facilitating an estimate of the Financial Exposure to the organisation arising from a given scenario

• Tasks undertaken as part of the Business Continuity process may overlap with those undertaken as part of the Policy Review process
